Happy Valentine's Day to ME!
After last Saturday this is exactlyyyyyyy what I needed. Thanks Daddy and Cathy! Socks are on and Chocolate is gone... mmmmmm
In Spain they don't celebrate St. Valentines Day but they DO celebrate St. George's Day which is April 23. La Diada de Sant Jordi also known as the day of roses and books. Similar to our Valentine's Day sweethearts are suppose to give each other gifts. Men use to give roses to the women and women give books to the men... but Nowadays women receive a rose AND a book. And I guess for whatever PC guys want a rose they should have one too...
One of the main streets in Barcelona La Rambla is filled with books and roses of every color. Some four million roses and 400,000 books are purchased on this day... UNREAL. Can't wait to see this for myself!
