Carnaval

A recent adventure of mine was a fun festival called Carnaval. It occurs right before lent kinda like a long drawn out Mardigras or if anyone has heard of Gasparilla. In Spain a hot spot for this festival is in Sitges. 45 min train ride south of the city you can find this little town between the mountains and sea. The group I went with left BCN around 1130pm to find a huge dance party on the beach and who-ha's everywhere. Everyone dresses up somewhat like halloween and I was a pirate thanks to some key pieces from Alfons.

The whole group

On the metro with Linnel the 80's barbie, Emmita the killer bee and Leora the gypsy

This weekend ELIZABETH and KAREN are coming to visit. Very excited and gearing up to show em around town a bit. I have Monday off of work  too so it will give me a little extra time to hangout. They get here Saturday morning and we will spend the wkend in the city at Iben's flat then come to Llavaneres Monday afternoon/night. Can't wait!
